Life Booster - Personality Workout (Week 3)


Hey people! It was my birthday on the 14th and I got all kinds of calls right from mid-night to mid-night (it was a total blast!). Among the most surprising ones was a call from one of my buddies from my university days that I’ve been out of touch with for ages and it gave me an idea for this week’s assignment. This week, we are going to surprise some of the people that were very close to us at some point in our past (can you feel the excitement already?)

ACTIVITY 
Surprise a lost friend. (Mad fun believe me)

METHOD
Go through your memory achieves and find at least five people that were very close to you in the past (you may need to do some digging, employ old contacts, Facebook and other search engines). When you have made your list, call one person a day for the week just to say ‘Hello!’

Your aim is to reconnect on some level, not necessarily on the same level you were back in the day, but to know how they are faring and what’s up with them now. This is not a pissing contest where you try to compare notes on who is doing better; it is a gratitude call to someone who made a time in your life worthwhile. So when you call, genuinely care about the person’s state of affairs.

RULES 
·         The person must have been pretty close to you at some point in the past
·         The person must have been out of touch for at least 5years
·         Find a way to appreciate the person for being a friend
