Mr. Worry from Worryland

...Therefore I tell you, do not worry...

News flash ... It was reported that Mr. John worried all night yesterday, about his expired house rent, children's school fees and trouble at work, and this morning, one million dollars cash crashed through his bedroom window. - As reported by 'Na so news' reporting.

Worry (to torment oneself with or suffer from disturbing thoughts; fret.), is the single most unproductive human emotion. Unlike fear it does not make u fight or flight, unlike anger it does not make u feel like hulk(smash; hope you've seen avengers), it produces nothing, adds nothing, anxiety is a bad cheque any day. It brings nothing to the table and demands everything as payment; health, peace, joy....

“Anxiety splits our energy between today's priorities and tomorrows problems" Max Lucado

Worry is from the Greek word 'merimnao' it's from two words 'merizo' (divide) and 'nous' (mind). Anxiety splits our minds, and do you know the English word for people with split minds? You got it, mad people, mentally unstable. I'm not trying to insult you (you answered the question). Every time you give in to worry and anxiety, you become mentally unstable. (You act plum crazy). Nobody gives to a double minded person, not even God. In other words not only does anxiety deprive you of achieving anything yourself, it also denies you from receiving from other people.

Worry not only does not add to us, it cuts short our lives, it steals our experience of today, obsessing over our uncertainties of tomorrow.

Corrie ten Boom says "worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, it empties today of its strength"

So quit your employment in worry factory, give up your seat in anxiety club, pack your bags, leave your shoes, and get out of Worryland! Don't worry about what will happen if you let go, the sky won't fall, and you won't die. You may actually see a way out if you chose to stop worrying for a moment and breath. Truth is if you can change tomorrow, why then are you worried, if you can't change tomorrow, what then would worrying achieve?
